All entries (including for sale or exhibition) must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or an exact copy. Entry clerk will call collect, if information is incomplete or illegible. There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks. Make checks payable to Emerald Cat Club . All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany entries. No refund for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor, please. Reasonable substitutions for no fee. There will be a late fee of $10.00 if payment is not made on October 20th, or postmarked by October 20th.
All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. Northwest Regional Awards. Rosettes and Ribbons will be awarded according to CFA show rules. No kitten under the age of four months will be allowed in the show hall. Blue slips may be required for proof of age.
No veterinary inspection will be required prior to benching. We is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formally know a feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), rhinotracheitis, calici viruses, and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. Front and back claws must be clipped before benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. All cats are expected to be free of ?eas, mites, and infectious illnesses.
For Sale/Exhibition Cage Rules:
Kittens must be at least 4 calendar months of age or older, and comply with all other CFA show rules. For sale or exhibition entries must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or a facsimile.

This is a nonsmoking facility. Handicapped accessible. No Alcoholic Beverages allowed on the Fairgrounds. The show hall is approximately 50 minutes from Portland International Airport (PDX).

This is a busy time in St. Helens, OR so please book early.
Single cage size is 21" x 21" x 21". Double cage size is 45" x 21" x 21". No more than one cat or two kittens may be benched in a single cage. All cages must have curtains covering the back, sides and top in addition to a rug or mat on the floor of the cage. No
grooming carts or tables permitted in the aisles. A limited number of single cages are available.
Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all wins in accordance with CFA Show Rules General Information: This show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA Show Rules. A copy of the CFA Show Rules may be obtained for $7.00 from CFA. All Championship, Premiership, and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards. Registration numbers must be printed in the catalog. It is the exhibitor's responsibility to check the entry confirmation and notify the entry clerk of any errors before the closing date.
Household pets are eligible only for awards in the Household Pet Class. Household pets are to be
judged separately from all other cats, solely on beauty and condition. Wild cats or wild cat-domestic hybrid crosses
are not eligible for entry. All Household Pets eight (8) months of age or older must be spayed or neutered.
Show Rule 2.19E:
The MISCELLANEOUS (Non-Competitive) CLASS is for any registered cat or registered kitten of a breed not accepted for Provisional Breed competition. Miscellaneous Class entries are examined by judges; however, no awards will be made in this class unless the club opts to provide best, second best, and third best of breed awards to cats competing inMiscellaneous. One award for all cats competing in the three categories combined (e.g., best overall, 2nd best overall, 3rd best overall) will be given in each ring where Miscellaneous cats are handled/judged if these awards are offered.
Check-In and Judging:
Check-in will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 10am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday. Advertised show hours will be from 10:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday and 9:00am - 4:00pm on Sunday. Show management does not allow early departures from the show, so make flight arrangements with this in mind.
Supplies and Miscellaneous:
Litter will be provided. Cat food will be provided as donated. Please bring your own food and water dishes, and your own litter pan.
